Samhain Altar

Picture of our altar set up for Samhain

This is our altar, set up for our Samhain ritual. We used a single candeholder for the matching orange God and Goddess candles. In the back on the right is a white Goddess statue, and on the left, also in back, is the black statue to represent the Gods. Next to the Goddess figure on the right is the red candle which we use to represent Perfect Love, and it's opposite is on the other side to represent Perfect Trust. We are using a small copper cauldron, on the far left, for our censor. We are also using our cute pumpkin mugs as chalices!

In the back, behind the cakes, you can just see the end of my wand. Our athames are not on the altar, we chose to wear them for this ritual. Under the altar, is the wooden cover for the Sabbat ritual, and also our divination tools, such as tarot cards, runes, etc. Also underneath the altar are the extra cakes and non-alchoholic beverage. On the right, you can see peaking from behind the table leg, our coven rock, used for grounding and centering ourselves before ritual begins.
